Ralf Augstroze

 

Ralf W. Augstroze is the Executive Director of The Providence Forum, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1999, whose mission is to preserve, defend, and advance the faith and values of our nation’s founding.  The Providence Forum accomplishes this through the publishing of major trade books on US history, TV and multimedia projects, tracts and brochures, speaking and media engagements.  During his tenure at The Providence Forum, Mr. Augstroze has published the bestselling books George Washington’s Sacred Fire and Wall of Misconception, and the recently released children’s book Lessons on Liberty – A Primer for Young Patriots, the Wall of Misconception audio book, which he also narrated, and the Philadelphia Faith and Freedom Guide.  Additionally, he has produced the audio CD Faith of Our Fathers, the nationally broadcast The Truth About Marriage television program and DVD, and has spoken widely at live events and to the media on behalf of the organization.
   
Additionally, he serves on the 2009 National Bible City – Philadelphia Steering Committee and the Media Subcommittee, where he coordinates television and video projects.  He is also a member of the National Bible Cities Council of the National Bible Association.  Recently Mr. Augstroze was also Supervising Producer of the nationally syndicated television program Proclaiming the Word with Peter Lillback. 

Immediately before coming to The Providence Forum, he led marketing and development operations at a prominent Christian education and technology para-ministry.  Previously, he was a senior executive in international project and relationship management at American Re-Insurance Company, where he was also instrumental in the 1993 acquisition of American Re by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.  Prior to that he fulfilled several management and creative leadership positions in the television industry.  He has also served in the US federal government in Washington, DC.

Originally a creative and production executive in the communications industry, he has produced many television projects, been a staff producer for CBS and PBS television affiliates, a voiceover artist, and is a multiple Emmy nominee.

Mr. Augstroze is a graduate of the University of Miami (FL), and has accomplished post-graduate study at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as at Princeton's Westminster Choir College.
   
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Union of Latvian Baptists in America, where he is also Director of Evangelism.  Mr. Augstroze is a Trustee, Elder, and the Chairman of the Board of Bucks County Latvian Baptist Church in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Augstroze has extensive writing and public speaking experience and is an accomplished musician, conductor, composer and arranger.
